Chennai, Oct 24:
PhonePe has rebranded its stockbroking and investment platform Share.Market as PhonePe Invest, bringing its wealth management services under the PhonePe brand. The move aims to make investing more accessible by integrating research-backed investment tools into the company’s wider financial services ecosystem.
Alongside the rebranding, PhonePe has launched Portfolio Optimiser, a proprietary portfolio intelligence tool designed to help investors build, review and optimise their investments through research-based insights. The tool aims to support both first-time investors and experienced market participants by providing a consolidated view of their portfolios and actionable information for investment decisions.
PhonePe Invest offers stocks, initial public offerings (IPOs), mutual funds and futures and options (F&O). The new Portfolio Optimiser adds a portfolio management layer to these services, enabling users to assess their investments beyond individual transactions and understand the overall health and diversification of their portfolios.
The tool has three key functions: Build, Review and Optimise. The Build feature is designed to help new investors begin their investment journey with greater clarity and confidence. The Review feature provides a consolidated assessment of portfolio health and diversification across multiple demat accounts, supported by research-based ratings categorising holdings as Hold, Monitor or Sell.
The Optimise feature is intended to help users identify underperforming assets, excessive exposure to particular sectors and other factors that could affect portfolio performance. It also allows users to explore alternative investments and rebalance their PhonePe Invest portfolios through a one-click process. The company said these capabilities would help investors make more informed decisions using portfolio diagnostics, ratings and actionable insights.
