Chennai, Oct 26:
DMK president and former Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has launched a sharp attack on the TVK government led by Chief Minister Vijay over the law and order situation, describing Tamil Nadu as “Wild Wild Tamil Nadu”.
In a post on X, Stalin alleged that murders, robberies, sexual assaults and cases of missing children had increased unprecedentedly over the past two months, leaving the public gripped by fear.
Taking a swipe at Vijay, Stalin asked whether the actor-turned-politician had predicted the situation when he remarked before the Assembly elections, “Is this a country or a jungle?”
Referring to Vijay’s image as an action hero on screen, Stalin said people who had voted for him believing in his “gun-wielding hero” persona were now calling him a “helpless hero” for his alleged failure to prevent crimes.
Stalin also criticised Vijay over his attire, convoy and focus on preparing his official office and residence, alleging that little substantial work had been done during the six months of TVK rule.
