Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has unveiled a new poster for his upcoming film King, raising expectations for the action thriller scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on December 24.
The poster features Shah Rukh Khan in an intense avatar, holding a gun and sporting a rose between his lips, with a fierce look in his eyes. The tagline, “I am not a killer… I am a lover!”, adds a romantic twist to his otherwise menacing appearance, hinting at a blend of action, intensity and romance.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, *King* features Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji and Jackie Shroff, among others. Kareena Kapoor is also said to appear in a special role.
The film is produced by Gauri Khan, Siddharth Anand and Mamta Anand under the banners of Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures. Sachith Paulose is credited with cinematography, while Anirudh and the musical duo Sachin–Jigar are associated with the film’s music.
The reunion of Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand, who previously collaborated on Pathaan, has added to the buzz surrounding the project. The film is also attracting attention as Suhana Khan takes a major step towards her big-screen career alongside her father.
