Filmmaker Suseenthiran’s upcoming film, starring Sasikumar, Kennedy Club’s Chinese theatrical rights have been procured by a local distribution house in China for Rs 2 crore.
Veteran director Bharathiraja also plays a pivotal role in the film touted to be a sports-based entertainer on women’s kabaddi.
As Aamir Khan’s Dangal won big in China, local distributors in the country prefer sports-based entertainers from India.
Kennedy Club also has Samuthirakani, Soori, Munishkanth, Meenakshi, Gayathri, Neethu, Sowmya, Smrithi, and Soundarya in important roles.
Produced by Thai Saravanan of Nallusamy Pictures, Imman is composing the music for the film and R B Gurudev is cranking the camera.
Kennedy Club is scheduled to release on Tamil New Year’s Day 2019.
