Chennai: Tamilnadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit greeted News Today (eveninger) on its entering the 37th year of publication.
His message read: “The vision of the founder Thiru T.R. Ramaswami who was hailed for his contribution to theĀ Indian Federation of Working Journalists has been realized.
The mostĀ important responsibility of a newspaper is to keep its readers informedĀ about the state of the nation and its people in a truthful and unbiased manner.”
As the man who ran the small newspaper Hitavada in Nagpur that every person crossing the city to go up north to Delhi would have read at some time or the other, his greetings mean a lot to News Today.
