Chennai: DMK Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozhi has backed her half-brother and DMK president M K Stalin’s demand for a CBI inquiry into the Kodanad video case.
Addressing mediapersons here this morning, Kanimozhi said the arrest interrogation of the two accused K V Sayan and Walayar Manoj in connection with the Tehelka video in which they appeared, was the height of authoritarianism.
Recalling Stalin’s demand, she said there should be a CBI probe into the whole case, failing which the party would take the issue to court.
Manoj and Sayan are being grilled in Chennai after being picked up in Delhi yesterday.
