Chennai: With the objective of creating awareness on healthy living and disease prevention, Gastroenterology, Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery (GEM) Hospital inaugurated its second National Gastro Expo – ‘Vayiru 2.0’ on the hospital premises, Perungudi today. The exhibition will go on till 26 January.
A press release issued by the hospital said, “Key attractions include – knowledge walk, learning from 3D models of digestive system, all about women and men (adolescence to menopause/andropause and beyond), meet & greet surgical robot and yoga. Experts in the respective fields will assist the public to understand all these with the help of 3D models, specimens and posters.”
The hospital is also conducting essay and drawing contests for everyone in addition to organising health talks by experts. Entry is free for the visitors.
