Filmmaker Deekay is ready with his next film, Katteri. Starring Vaibhav and Varalaxmi in the lead, the movie will be hitting the screens soon.
“I am happy with the way Katteri has shaped up. I was given enough freedom by my producer Gnanavelraja,” says Deekay.
Though Deekay took to acting with a meaty role in Vijay Sethupathi- starrer Seethakathi recently, he says, “Direction is my passion. I want to come out with films of different genres.”
Standing before cameras was never easy. “As a director, I would brief scene to my artistes and wait for them to deliver their best.”
Speaking about Katteri, Deekay says, “It is not a cliched horror film. There are enough elements in the film to attract all kinds of audience.”
Katteri also stars Sonam Bajwa, Ponnambalam, Ravi Maria, John Vijay among others. S N Prasadh is composing the music.
