Vellore: A government-aided higher secondary school at Tirupattur, Vellore, was in the news on Tuesday for all the wrong reasons after a video of some students ridiculing their teacher was circulated on the social media.
According to official sources, the video showed the six 12th standard students ridiculing their teacher and not allowing him to sit in his chair and later circulated the video of the incident on social media.
Following this, district education officials conducted an inquiry, and it was found that the students had recently stabbed the school head master and used abusive words against several teachers. The parents of the students were summoned and informed about their kids’ suspension. They will be, however, allowed to write their public examination.
