Actor Prithvi, son of filmmaker Pandiarajan, plays veteran actor Karthik’s fan in a period drama titled Kadhal Munnetra Kazhagam.
A period drama set in 1985, the movie features Chandini opposite Prithvi. Written and directed by Manik Sathya, the movie is bankrolled by Malarkodi Murugan for Blue Hills Productions.
Speaking about the movie, Manik Sathya, says, “It is an emotional drama set in a village. Deceit in friendship forms the crux. The climax will be riveting. The innocence of villages are captured well. Impressed watching the film, Pandiarajan appreciated our crew.”
Actor Sivasenathipathi plays a key role. Singam Puli, Ganja Karuppu, Kishore Kumar, Nadhaswaram Muneesraja are also in the cast. Music is by P C Sivan and cinematography by Harris Krishnan.
A major portion of the movie was shot in Chennai, Ooty, Vriddhachalam, Thittakudy and Perambalur. Kadhal Munnetra Kazhagam will be released shortly, said Manik Sathya.
