Aditi Balan, who made a critically-acclaimed debut in Aruvi has been assigned to play the lead in a Malayalam movie to be helmed by National award winning cinematographer Santosh Sivan.
The movie would stasr Kalidas , son of veteran actor Jayaram in the lead. Santosh Sivan shot to fame working ion several Maniratnam classics. He also directed a few films in Tamil and Malayalam.
He approached Aditi Balan and narrated the story to her. She readily agreed impressed with it. Aditi played a young girl affected by HIV in Aruvi. She won several awards for her performance in it.
