Chennai: To encourage the development of assistive technologies in Tamil to support the differently-abled community, International Forum for Information Technology in Tamil (INFITT) and Anna University have come together to organise 18th Tamil Internet Conference, between 20 and 22 September with the theme ‘Tamil Robotics and Language Processing’.
The organisers invite researchers involved in different aspects of Tamil computing and information technology to submit their research papers before 1 June.
A few of the topics listed are: Natural language processing in Tamil, machine translation of texts between Tamil and English and other Indian languages, sentiment analysis and opinion mining in social media and smart access of Tamil content on the Internet, digital libraries in Tamil.
