Chennai: TANGEDCO has announced that electricity supply will be suspended in few places in city on Thursday, from 9 am to 5 pm for maintenance work.

According to a press release, the power supply will be resumed even before 5 pm if the works are completed. The power supply will be halted in the following areas.

Thiruvanmiyur & Indira Nagar: 3rd & 4th Avenue, Indira Nagar, 3rd, 21st to 24th, 28th & 29th Cross Street, Indira Nagar, CPW Quarters, 4th Main Road and Indira Nagar.

Neelankarai: Kokinoor Complex, Rajendran Complex & Rajendra Garden, Pandidan Nagar, Bismillah Nagar, Imbrahim Street ECR Main Road, ECR Main Road & Vettuvankeni, Raja Nagar, Teachers Colony and Workers Estate.

Adyar Gandhi Nagar: 2,3,4 Main Road, 1,2,3 Canal Cross Road, 4th Cross Road, Crescent Avenue Road and Canal Bank Road.

Kottivakkam: K K Road, Bharathi Avenue, Kaveri Nagar, Kuppam Beach Road, 1st to 3rd Street AGS Colony, 1st to 21st Street Venkateshwara Nagar, New Colony, Palgalai Nagar, Kottivakkam Kuppam, Thulakkathamman Street and ECR Road.

Besant Nagar: Gangai Street, Arundale Beach Road, Appar Street, Mahalakshmi Street, Rukumani Street, Pari Street, Coastal Road, 29th Street, Thirumurugan Street, Kaveri Street, 7th Avenue, Ashtalakshmi Garden (1st to 3rd street), Thidir Nagar, Odaiman Nagar and Paindiamman Koil Street.

Alwarthirunagar: Thiruvaluvar Salai, Kaikkan Kuppam, Gandhi Nagar, VOC Street, Srinivasa Street, Rajendran Street, Veerappan Nagar, Thiru Nagar, Thiru Nagar Annxe and Suresh nagar.

Velacheri: Ramaniyam Flat.
