Chennai: Non-banking finance company, IIFL Finance, along with IIFL Foundation, has launched a new community connect program called ‘IIFL Milan’, to organise initiatives with social impact.
Recently, IIFL organised more than 1,080 health camps in a single day in over 700 cities and towns across the country, a release said.
Called as ‘Sehat Ki Baat, AapKeSaath’ to increase awareness of various lifestyle and health-related habits, these camps drew participation from more than 51,700 citizens, especially women and senior citizens, the release added.
CEO of IIFL Finance, Sumit Bali, said, “IIFL Finance is a responsible organization pursuing ESG, i.e., environmental, social and governance, goals among its prime objectives. IIFL Milan is a step further in giving back to our community members who have helped us grow in the past 13 years. We plan to have monthly activities across our branches under the banner of IIFL Milan.”
