Chennai: DMK president M K Stalin today held a meeting with senior party leaders to finalise the identification of constituencies to the alliance parties for the Lok Sabha elections. The meeting was held at the party office in Arivalayam in which T R Baalu, A Raja and Ponmudi were present.

Sources said the DMK will be finalising and releasing the candidate list 17 March. Sources said Stalin also discussed about finalising the DMK’s election manifesto during the meeting and it is expected to be released soon.

It may be noted that AIADMK held a meeting with its alliance parties last evening to finalise the identification of seats. Sources say both the AIADMK and DMK are finding it a bit tough in the allocation of seats to alliance partners.
