Nikkragan, an upcoming commercial thriller written and directed by debutante Nazren Sam tells the story about college students who work as part-time radio jockeys.
The producers of the film, Chythanya Cine Creations, released the first look poster and title recently. The poster features four young actors with a radio in the background. In the film, these students are the hosts of a radio show which makes them popular.
A life-changing incident turns things around, and they get caught in various problems arising because of the dangers of the internet.
The film will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Director Nazren said, “The title of the film Nikkragan, means destroy. It has a significance to the screenplay.”
The shooting for the movie will begin next month, and locations in Chennai and Chengalpet have been finalised. Release can be expected sometime in June, said the director.
