Hyderabad: In a freak incident, two people were run over by a tipper lorry after they fell off a two-wheeler yesterday.
A man and a woman relative were travelling on a two-wheeler when they fell down after being hit by the door of a parked mini-truck that was suddenly opened.
Soon after falling down, a tipper lorry coming from behind ran over them. While the man died on spot, the woman succumbed to injuries in a hospital.
The police have registered a case of causing death by negligence against the mini-truck driver and investigation was on.
