Mozart of Madras A R Rahman has turned producer with 99 Songs. He has also written lyrics besides composing music for the movie.
The film is based on a young and a passionate love story with music in its soul and will be directed by Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy.
Rahman took to his Twitter and announced the hero of the movie.
“Introducing the talented @itsEhanBhat who marks his debut as the lead of #99Songs. I hope you will shower him with as much love as I have received from you,” he wrote.
The film will release on 21st June 2019 in Hindi, Telugu & Tamil.
Apart from Ehan, 99 Songs also features debutants Edilsy Varghese and Tenzin Dalha. Lisa Ray, Manisha Koirala, composer-drummer Ranjit Barot and Indian Oean’s Rahul Ram will also be seen in the supporting roles.
