Chennai: Police are conducting inquiries into a complaint where a woman alleged that a box of gold bangles was missing from her bag.
According to the police, the incident took place on 9 May.
The complainant Tara Chand (55) of Trichy took orders of making designer gold ornaments. She had made bangles for her customer in the city and brought them by bus.
However, on reaching Koyambedu CMBT, she realised the box was missing. The box of valuables was worth Rs 23 lakh, she said.
