Vijay is currently busy shooting for his 63rd venture, being directed by Atlee. Produced by AGS Entertainments, it has music by AR Rahman. Buzz is that the shoot for the movie would be completed by June and Vijay would begin his next from August.
Sources close to the actor say that he (Vijay) has made a surprise choice for his next. They say that director Lokesh Kanagaraj of Maanagaram fame has narrated a script to Vijay. The actor was mightily impressed with it. He has asked even Lokesh Kanagaraj to come up with the final draft of the script.
Maanagaram featured Sundeep Kishan, Shri, Regina Cassandra, Madhusudhan, and Charle in lead roles. It was like a Shakespearean play of mistaken identities. It managed a good show at the box office.
