Chennai: Veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja has been unanimously chosen as president of Tamil Film Directors Association.
At an annual general body meeting of the association held in Chennai today, Bharathiraja was chosen as its president. The meeting was attended by veteran directors, members of the association at Kamal Theatres.
A veteran in the industry, Bharathiraja had directed several films that not only made big at the box office, but managed to get several awards and rave reviews.
