Chennai: A man affected by polio died in an accident at Injambakkam last night.
According to the police, Aranganathan (43), a resident of Kambar Street, Taramani, worked in the pharmacy of a private hospital.
Last night, he was tailgating a private bus at Injambakkam on a scooter when he tried overtaking the bus. But the bus hit the brake when a vehicle crossed its path and Aranganathan rammed into the bus. Aranganathan died on the spot.
His body was sent to the Government Royapettah Hospital for post-mortem.
The police arrested bus driver Sundaram (31), a native of Arani, Vandavasi.
