Hyderabad: Weeks after Congress’ disciplinary action committee issued show cause notice to its MLA K Rajagopal Reddy for making comments against party leaders, he submitted his reply yesterday.
The disciplinary committees’ chairman M Kodanda Reddy announced that Rajagopal Reddy has sent his reply but not further details were revealed.
Reddy had allegedly said BJP is the alternative to TRS and also indicated he might join the ruling party in the centre. The Munugode MLA also slammed PCC president and AICC in-charge of party affairs R C Khuntia for ineffectiveness in their leadership.
He had further blamed Khuntia and Uttam Kumar Reddy for Congress’ poor performance in the Assembly elections held in December last year.
