Hyderabad: A day after Biswa Bhusan Harichandan was named the new Governor of Andhra Pradesh, E S L Narasimhan congratulated him.
Harichandan hails from Odisha, and will be the 23rd governor of Andhra Pradesh. According to a media report, Narasimhan spoke to Harichandan over phone and wished that the State will march toward development and progress under his guidance.
Narasimhan served as the common Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana after the bifurcation in 2014. He had held the post in AP for 10 years.
