Hyderabad: ”The cow is respected and worshipped in this faith (Hindu religion). I appeal to all Muslim brethren to totally refrain from sacrificing the cow. Instead, offer small sacrifice. You can sacrifice sheep or any other animals,” said Telangana Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali urging Muslims.

Speaking to reporters near Charminar, he said law and order is very good in the State. He said the four minarets of the monument represent Hinduism, Islam, Sikhism and Christianity, and that the four have been bound together.

The minister said that if there was any leader after Quli Qutub Shah, who built the iconic monument, who brings people together, it is Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
