Chennai: TANGEDCO has announced that electricity supply will be suspended in few places in city Wednesday, from 9 am to 5 pm for maintenance work.

According to a press release, the power supply will be resumed even before 5 pm if the works are completed. The power supply will be halted in the following areas.

SRMC: Alapakkam Tablet Factory, Jamal Building, Telephone Exchange and Part of Alapakkam Road.

Porur: Part of Kundrathur Main Road, Part of Vineswara Nagar, M S Nagar, Bhell Nagar, Jayendra Saraswathy Nagar, Amman Nagar, Rajalakshmi Nagar, Kamatchi Nagar, Sathyanarayanapuram, Shanmuga Nagar, Jaya Lakshmi Nagar, Aarthi Nagar, Raja Raja Nagar, Part of Bajanai Koil Street, Moulivakkam, Mangadu Road, A D Govindharaj Nagar, Ranga Nagar, Lakshmi Nagar, Murugan Nagar, Stalin Nagar and Jothy Nagar.

Velacheri East: Thanthai Periyar Nagar, Part of 100 Feet Tharamani Link Road, Udhayam Nagar, Amirtham Avenue, Bharani Street, Bhavani Amman Koil Street, Kallukuttai and Bharathi Nagar.

Madhavaram: KKR Nagar, Ambedkar Nagar, Kannabiran Koil Street, Thiruvalluvar Street, Micetic Colony, Sathiya Raj Nagar, RC Queens Part Appartment, Jumbuli Colony, KKR Estate and Kalkatta Shop.
