Chennai: Leading industrial and automotive supplier, Schaeffler India Limited announced the beneficiaries of HOPE Engineering Scholarship Program 2019-20. Through this initiative, Schaeffler India will be providing Scholarships to 32 meritorious students from financially disadvantaged families who aspire to build a career in the fields of engineering.
According to a press release, special preference was reserved for women candidates who had applied for this programme. The initiative was implemented with Buddy4study foundation.
Commenting on the occasion, vice president, Human Resource – Schaeffler India, Santanu Ghoshal said, “The Schaeffler India HOPE Engineering Scholarship 2019-20 is aimed at helping promising youth especially young women pursue a career in the fields of science and engineering. It is our constant endeavor to be able to encourage underprivileged youth to enter and excel in these fields and become independent.”
