After completing the shoot of Karthik Subbaraj’s film, Dhanush has started to shoot for Karnan, directed by Mari Selvaraj of Pariyerum Perumal fame.
An intense social drama, it is being shot in and around Tirunelveli. Sources say that actress Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli, who was last seen in Richie, will be part of this project.
She plays an important role in the film. Her character will be an intense one. Karnan is Lakshmi Priyaa’s first film after she recently got hitched to Venkataraghavan Srinivasan, a theatre personality and writer from Bengaluru. The film is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu. The music of the film is composed by Santhosh Narayanan, who had earlier worked with Dhanush in Vada Chennai.
