Dhana, an associate of Mani Ratnam, says, ‘that his directorial Vannam Kottatum, bankrolled by Madras Talkies, as won the admiration of family audience.
‘My debut film Padai Veeran dealt with a theme similar to that of Dhanush’s Asuran, but it went unnoticed. However, Vaanam Kottatum, which was released by Madras Talkies, got the right attention.’
Dhana is working on his next, an action thriller, and talks are going on with a top actor.
”Once I sign up, I will announce it officially,” he adds.
Thanking Mani Ratnam for the opportunity to do Vaanam Kottaum, Dhana says, ”Both Sarath Kumar and Radhika sarath Kumar played their part admirably well. I learnt a lot working in the movie”.
Dhana adds,”I was happy when Prabhu sir informed me that Vaanam Kottatum has won fans for Vikram Prabhu in rural areas”.
