Chennai: Greater Chennai Police Commissioner A K Viswanathan today said people are supposed to come out of their homes only to buy essentials, that too till 1 pm.
Speaking to the media, he said, “people can buy things within one or two kms distance from their houses.” He also said there is no restriction on volunteers who wish to help the needy during the lockdown.
“Only to ways to distribute relief products have been altered,” he said.
