Chennai: Dr. Sivaraj Sivakumar, known to be the veteran of Siddha medicine in Tamilnadu especially when it comes to treatment for sexual disorders, passed away in Salem this morning.
A specialist in treating fertility and nerve-related issues, Sivaraj belonged to a family who are pioneers of Siddha medicine for about 206 years, spanning over seven generations.
According to sources, ‘Sivaraj who was undergoing treatment for ill-health quite sometime now, passed away early this morning’.
His mortal remains are kept at his ancestral home in Sivathapuram, Salem, for public to pay homage.
The final rites will be carried out later today.
Several politicians and leaders expressed their condolences on his death.
