Puducherry: Inspector General Anand Prakash Badola, TM, Commander Coast Guard Region (East) visited CG District Headquarters at Puducherry and ICG Station at Karaikal to review operational preparedness and infrastructure development.
This is his maiden visit to Puducherry and Karaikal on assuming charge as Commander, Coast Guard Region (East) on 11 June 2021.
The District Commander, Puducherry briefed the Regional Commander regarding the prevailing Coastal Security Scenario along the coast of Puducherry and Karaikal.
The Regional Commander also reviewed the Coast Guard infrastructure projects in Puducherry and Karaikal which are essential for enhanced operational capability, said an official release.
