Chennai: The much-awaited trailer of Vijay-starrer Beast was unveiled recently and it went viral on social media.
Vijay plays Veeraraghavan, a RAW agent and he is on a mission to save Chennai’s East Coast Mall hijacked by terrorists.
Slated for release 13 April, the big news that is coming is that the movie has been banned for screening in Kuwait. The exact reason is said to be a few controversial scenes.
Touted to be an action-thriller, Beast is directed by Nelson Dilpkumar and bankrolled by Sun Pictures.
The film has Pooja Hegde playing the female lead and will have a theatrical clash with South actor Yash’s ‘KGF Chapter 2’, which will come out the very next day.
Selvaraghavan, Kingsley among others form part of the cast. Music is by Anirudh Ravichander and camera is by Manoj Paramahamsa. A couple of songs from the film are already topping the charts.
