The police have formed a special team to track down the suspects, leading to a complex web of accusations involving both notorious criminals and political figures.

The investigation has revealed the involvement of several individuals in the murder, including Ponni Balu, the brother of Arakkonam Suresh; female gangster Malar Kodi; Ganja dealer Anjali; and Haridharan, among others. The case has taken a political turn with reports suggesting links to various party officials from AIADMK, DMK, BJP, PMK, and Congress. The police are meticulously examining these connections to uncover the full extent of the conspiracy.

A crucial suspect in the case, known as “Rowdy” Sambo Senthil’s associate, Mottai Krishnan, has reportedly escaped abroad with his family. Police sources indicate that Krishnan was in regular contact with Monisha, the wife of prominent director Nelson, before fleeing. This revelation has further intensified the investigation, as the police discovered that Rs. 75 lakh had been transferred from Monisha’s bank account to Krishnan’s account.

In response to the mounting accusations, Monisha, the wife of director Nelson, issued a public statement vehemently denying any financial dealings with Mottai Krishnan. She expressed shock at the allegations, stating, “The information about financial transactions with lawyer Mottai Krishnan is completely false and baseless. Certain individuals are spreading these unfounded rumors without any evidence.”

Monisha also emphasized the potential damage these rumors could cause to her and her husband’s reputation, warning, “Spreading such baseless information not only tarnishes our reputation but is also an irresponsible act. Those who have published this false news must retract it immediately. If the false information continues to spread, we will take legal action.”

The police continue their investigation into Armstrong’s murder, focusing on the various leads and connections uncovered so far.
