Palaniswami (EPS), is holding a pivotal meeting with district secretaries on November 6. The AIADMK plans to focus on holding the DMK accountable by addressing perceived shortcomings in its policies. “Our job as an opposition is to ask tough questions and highlight where the government is falling short,” noted a senior party strategist. By creating well-researched counterpoints on issues such as economic policies, law and order, and governance, the AIADMK hopes to present itself as a serious alternative. Leaders are also expected to discuss solutions to address key voter concerns, establishing the AIADMK as a credible, solution-oriented opposition.
Political analysts believe that alliances could be instrumental for the AIADMK’s resurgence. “The BJP has traditionally been a strong ally, but this time, AIADMK could explore ties with other regional parties and social organizations,” said a political observer.
