Following actor Vijay’s recent remarks criticizing the DMK at the first state conference of his Tamilaga Vetrikazham party, Tamil Nadu’s Deputy Chief Minister, Udhayanidhi Stalin, delivered a pointed response. Udhayanidhi’s reply came during an event in Thiruvannainallur, near Vikravandi, where he inaugurated a bronze statue of former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi.In his speech, Udhayanidhi Stalin addressed Vijay’s political aspirations and clarified the DMK’s strength in Tamil Nadu’s political landscape. He stated, “No matter who challenges us, whether they come from Delhi or from a local background, the victory will ultimately belong to the DMK. In the 2026 Assembly elections, regardless of alliances, DMK is certain to win.”
