London, July 17:Â Global higher education analysis firm Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), based in London, has released its latest ranking of the best cities for students pursuing higher studies abroad.For the first time, Seoul has claimed the top position, pushing Londonâwhich held the No.1 spot for the past six yearsâdown to sixth place.
Among Indian cities, there has been notable progress. Mumbai moved up 15 places to 98th, Delhi rose 7 places to 104th, Bengaluru climbed 22 spots to 108th, and Chennai improved by 12 positions to 128th.
These rankings reflect factors like university quality, student diversity, affordability, and employer activity.
