The Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) is organizing its second state conference on the 25th of next month in Madurai. The event is being planned on a massive scale, with a pandal and stage being set up on a 506-acre plot of land near Perungudi. Organizers are aiming to surpass previous conferences held by other political parties.Preparations are already underway, including land leveling and pandal construction. The stage will incorporate modern digital technology and is being designed by a team of experts. The pandal is being built to accommodate approximately 10 lakh people, with seating for a similar number. Special arrangements are also being made for VIPs and administrators.
The conference is expected to draw over 50,000 vehicles, and multiple parking lots are being prepared. Separate teams are handling logistics for food, water, and restrooms. Party General Secretary Pussy N. Anand is leading the efforts to ensure the event’s success. Party leader Vijay is scheduled to arrive in Madurai on August 24th, a day before the conference, which the TVK hopes will be a turning point in the state’s political history.
