Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin virtually inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for a series of tourism development projects across the State, with a total investment of ₹23.76 crore covering nine key destinations.The projects aim to strengthen eco-tourism, upgrade infrastructure, and improve visitor experiences. Key initiatives include the establishment of eco-camp sites, adventure tourism facilities, modernization of accommodation, enhancement of natural attractions, and upgradation of tourist amenities.
The initiative is expected to boost sustainable tourism, create employment opportunities, strengthen regional economies, and further position Tamil Nadu as a leading tourism destination in India.
The event was attended by Tourism Minister R. Rajendran, Chief Secretary N. Muruganandam, Additional Chief Secretary and TTDC Chairman Dr. K. Manivasan, and TTDC Managing Director T. Christuraj, along with other senior officials.
