The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is planning to launch the PSLV rocket again after two recent mission failures, Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Jitendra Singh has said.
Speaking about the setbacks, the minister said the failures were due to different technical reasons and did not indicate any fundamental flaw in the PSLV rocket. He added that expert committees have studied the issues and corrective measures have been taken.
Jitendra Singh said ISRO scientists are confident of a successful launch and preparations are underway for the next mission. He also dismissed speculation about sabotage and stressed that ISRO continues to enjoy the trust of the international community.
The upcoming launch is expected to restore confidence in PSLV, which has been one of India’s most reliable launch vehicles over the years.
