The Higher Secondary (Plus Two) public examinations in Tamil Nadu are set to begin day after tomorrow. The School Education Department has completed all necessary preparations to ensure smooth conduct of the examinations across the State.
Over eight lakh students, including both regular school candidates and private candidates, are expected to appear for the exams. Thousands of examination centres have been readied, with invigilators and flying squads deployed to prevent malpractice.
Authorities have issued strict guidelines to maintain discipline inside exam halls. Students have been instructed to reach centres well in advance and follow all prescribed rules. Strict action will be taken against any form of malpractice, including the use of prohibited materials or impersonation.
The practical examinations were conducted earlier, and officials have ensured uninterrupted power supply and adequate security arrangements at all centres.
With preparations complete, students across Tamil Nadu are gearing up to write their crucial board examinations.
