Chennai, Apr 24:The registration process for JEE Advanced 2026 has officially commenced, offering eligible candidates the opportunity to apply online until May 2, 2026. The highly competitive entrance examination is set to be conducted on May 17, 2026, marking a crucial step for aspirants aiming to secure admission into India’s premier engineering institutions.
JEE Advanced serves as the second stage of the Joint Entrance Examination and is mandatory for admission into prestigious institutes such as the Indian Institutes of Technology and the Indian Institute of Science. Only those candidates who have successfully cleared JEE Main 2026, held earlier this year in January and April, are eligible to appear for this advanced-level test, making it one of the most selective examinations in the country.
This year, the examination is being conducted by IIT Roorkee. The test will comprise two papers—Paper 1 and Paper 2—both to be held on the same day. The question papers will cover core subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, designed to assess analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Interested and eligible candidates are required to complete their application process through the official website before the deadline. With limited seats and intense competition, timely registration is essential for students aspiring to gain entry into the country’s top-tier engineering institutes.
