New Dwlhi, June 8:
The INDIA bloc is set to hold a crucial meeting in New Delhi on June 8 amid visible signs of discord within the Opposition alliance. The meeting comes at a time when key partners are expressing dissatisfaction over the Congress party’s functioning.
While the Congress and the Trinamool Congress (TMC) are keen to project unity ahead of the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections, cracks within the alliance have become increasingly evident.
In a significant development, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has announced that it will boycott the meeting, signaling deepening differences among allies.
Several parties within the bloc have reportedly raised concerns about coordination and leadership, putting pressure on Congress to address internal grievances. Despite the growing unease, senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh maintained that the alliance remains united and committed to its broader political goals.
