Chennai, July 31:
The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) has announced that original mark certificates for students who appeared for the March 2026 Higher Secondary Public Examinations will be available for distribution from July 30, 2026.
The announcement applies to both Higher Secondary First Year (Class 11) and Second Year (Class 12) students, including those whose results were revised after retotalling or revaluation.
According to the official notification, school students can collect their original mark certificates or statements of marks directly from the schools where they studied. Private candidates, on the other hand, are required to collect their certificates from the examination centres where they appeared for the public examinations.
The DGE also clarified that private candidates who have not yet collected earlier original mark certificates linked to their permanent registration can obtain them from their respective examination centres.
Officials said the distribution process began on July 30 and urged students to collect their certificates at the earliest, as they are essential for higher education admissions and other official purposes.
For additional information, students and parents can visit the official website of the Directorate of Government Examinations.
