The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested a Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, Coimbatore (Tamilnadu) and an auditor (a private person) for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs.50,000 from a complainant.
As many as seven districts of Tamilnadu reported zero active cases on Wednesday but elsewhere in the State 44 infections were reported.
