Chennai: A case has been registered against orator and popular pattimandram anchor, Dindigul I Leoni, for defaming the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister.
Reports state that the case relates to Leoni’s comments about Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam that were made in June 2018.
The case was registered in the Pondy Bazaar police station under five sections of the Indian Penal Code, including the section relating to disturbing public peace.
