Puducherry: Stating the example of Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli, Union Minister Ramadas Athawale said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a good captain and attempts to defeat him would end in failure.
Comparing Modi to Kohli, Athawale said that the latter exhibited great capability by defeating Australia in the recent test series and like wise Narendra Modi and team cannot be defeated as he is a good captain.

The Union minister issued his statements after reviewing various schemes implemented in Puducherry for welfare of the scheduled castes and other sections. He remarked that people will choose Modi as the next Prime minister again in the Lok Sabha elections and that these parties did not want a leader from the Other Backward Class to be the Prime Minister.
He told reporters that if Modi became Prime Minister again he would change the Constitution and do away with reservation for the SCs, STs and OBCs. Modi was from the OBC community and this was the first time that india had seen a person from the community becoming the Prime Minister. The NDA government at the Centre had done good work for the benefit of the depressed sections, he added, and hence people would again choose Narendra Modi as the next Prime Minister.
