“The phase one extension project that links Washermanpet with Tiruvottiyur and Wimco Nagar will be open for public by June 2020. The filled-up applications will be accepted till 21 January either in person or by post by the respective Corporation zonal office.
“Buses heading south from Koyambedu bus terminus during Pongal holidays will not pass through Maduravoyal bypass but, instead, take the Outer Ring Road. So, passengers at Perungalathur have to got to Urapakkam bus stand to catch their buses,” said Transport Minister M R Vijayabhaskar.
