Chennai: Following the burial of DMK patriarch Karunanidhi on Wednesday, the Chennai Corporation issued his death certificate this morning.
The date and place of death (7 August, Kavery Hospital) of Karunanidhi along with his age at the time of death (94) has been officially recorded.
Karunanidhi’s Gopalapuram house’s address has been entered as his official residence in the certificate.
The certificate records his wife’s name Dayalu, father’s name Muthuvel and mother’s name Anjugam.
The City Health Officer from the Department of Public Health, Dr NA Senthilnathan has signed the certificate.
