Chennai: The Madras High Court today issued a notice to Election Commission to complete enquiry within four weeks on a petition filed by former MP K C Palaniswamy against the changes made in the bylaws of the AIADMK by Edapadi Palaniswami and O Pannerselvam.
The former MP was removed from the party by OPS and EPS recently. Challenging the vailidity of the order, he filed a petition stating that changes made in party bylaw by them is invalid.
Hearing the petition, the court ordered sending notice to EC.
